PLAYROOM + KIWI CO
Our playroom is finally done (mostly!) and organized!!! We spend so much more time in here now that everything has it’s place. I have defff found that my kids get overwhelmed when there is too much to choose from.
These cold winter months are a struggle for me in my mom life - I am such a homebody, and getting out of the house isn’t on the top of my to-do list. Yet I am running our of things for Grey and Mila to do. Besides bicker and annoy each other (and me.) HA! We’ve been getting @kiwico_inc crates for the past few months, and they have been a freakin’ lifesaver / sanity-saver. Planning different screen-free activities are always on my radar, so these fit right in.
Each box comes with evvverything Grey needs to make the monthly project, with super simple instructions. The company was created by a mama (and you KNOW I love an entrepreneur mama!) with the intent of keeping kids engaged and using their creativity at all ages. All the projects, inspo, + activities are created by a team of peeps here in the USA (cali!) and follow the STEAM model🙌🏻🙌🏻 What is the STEAM model? Yeah, I had to google it when I first heard of it too.
Science
Technology
Engineering
Arts
Mathematics
BOOM. Steam method. Focusing on rising up creative kids who can collaborate, take thoughtful risks in their learning, and problem solve like bosses.
Grey is always SOOOO pumped when these come in the mail. He is always excited to see what he gets to make next, and he thinks its so fun to make them with Mila too. She just watches or we give her a part of it to hold and play with. This month, we made these little race cars that he could make go fast by blowing a balloon. He and Mila had fun racing them around the playroom, anddddd he lasted about two days with the balloons before we “lost them” after one too many times of having wet air sprayed in my face soooo.. yeah. Five year olds.
You can grab your first month of @kiwico_inc for free and you just have to pay $4.95 shipping using code “HAUSER”
