Hi.

I’m Annie!

CHORE CHART.

CHORE CHART.

okay so I was feeling like we had no family routine lately. and by lately I mean when chris came home full time a year ago πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ we just never really got into a flow, and I was feeling very all over the place, and being home with the kids more often meant that we have a lot of β€œchill” mornings. So chill, there were multiple days of me saying things like β€œgrey, did i feed you breakfast?” β€œUm grey did you brush your teeth?” (Awkward.)

Right. So we needed a plan. enter a chore chart. for grey, or for me? We will never know.

I got these cute custom magnets made, and this cute chart. it has a side for G and a side for M. middle section is days of the week. I got some gold star magnets that he gets each day when he does his daily tasks.

ITS BEEN A FREAKING GAME CHANGER GUYS. grey is sooo much more excited, and self sufficient. He loves moving his magnets to the β€œdone” side and then getting stars each night.
At the end of the week, he gets a treat. It might be ice cream for breakfast, a movie date with mommy or daddy, chick-fil-a, going to the mall, getting a new trash truck, whatever. (Open to suggestions here! I don’t want them to all be food or toy related.)

Do you guys do this for your kids? And anything I’m missing?
